It's freakishly scary to think that anyone has access to reading this blog especially if I were to write political rants and raves. So i'll refrain from doing so. All I will say, however, is that politics is retarded. Everyone just wants money. Oversimplified? Probably but the question is, what's in it for me? Hence, we return to Aristotle's question of whether or not today's society is about the behavior that preserves democracy verses behavior that democracy likes, the prior being that if democracy means equality, we behave in a way that exhibits our own rights as individuals rather than the latter idea where we try to make a democracy work by making our lives exist to benefit others. Whether it be marraige definitions or pro-life issues, these issues I believe are brought on by people behaving as a result of democracy and not the idea that we need to think about why democracies exist. Political Correctness is a term that is not political correct. Trying not to offend someone through the use of a euphemism is probably more insulting than anything. In the end, it's about relativism and how we can probably 'lessen' the damage. Too bad it doesn't really work. Freedom of speech has its limits. How far do you go to express your individual 'thoughts'? I think relativism is today's problem. Again, I may be oversimplifying but maybe take a step back and consider if absolutes still exist? Problem is, those with absolutes become 'extremists' and 'narrow-minded'. At the same time, to not have absolutes is like saying that the color 'red' is the color of the sky. I don't know what i'm talking about anymore. I'm going to stop here and write about how Halo brings people together.

So if you're in the NY area, own your own controller, have a lack of interaction w/ people, enjoy multicultural settings, and have a bloodthirsty appetite for conquering hordes of malevolent aliens, leave me a note. I cannot emphasize the amount of bonding that occurs (mainly due to the fact that A.F. will squeeze your arm everytime you make a great kill), you will leave feeling like you have saved the world from the evils of the universe.
